 The Georgetown ISD Education Foundation exists to support innovative teaching in our schools. Two grant cycles are held annually. Contact the foundation about opportunities to sponsor a grant. 

 We're proud to recognize educators for their dedication to helping students while living out the district’s mission to lead, grow and serve. An annual end-of-year event recognizes teachers for service and announces top awards for teacher and employees of the year. Your support of the Ed Foundation helps us recognize these people.

This event is held each spring. 

National Board Certification (NBC) is the most respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students, and schools. It was designed to develop, retain, and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide. NBC certified teachers are eligible for thousands of dollars in annual compensation increases.
